The attorneys in our firm have decades of experience in addressing the challenges that people face because a relationship has ended. We regularly appear in court to assist clients in all areas of family law: dissolution of marriage, legal separation, child custody and visitation, college expenses, paternity, child support, alimony/maintenance, removal from the State of Illinois, Orders of Protection, and post-divorce modifications.
We can also assist with services that do not involve court proceedings. Some of our attorneys have special training as family law mediators and can help parties resolve disputes without going to court. In addition, we can provide counsel and assistance prior to a marriage with prenuptial agreements that can protect assets and reduce problems in the event of the dissolution of the marriage.
